Promotion against Dusseldorf fixed? Guest block becomes a home area

Promotion against Dusseldorf fixed

The promotion of Preußen Münster is still uncertain. They are unlikely to win their away game against 1. FC Kaan-Marienborn on Wednesday, which means they have to wait for their chance to secure the promotion on the pitch.

However, if the West German Football Association rejects 1. FC Düren’s appeal against the game rating from the canceled game against Münster, and Münster wins at Kaan-Marienborn, they may be awarded three points that will bring them closer to their promotion.

The SCP hopes to secure their promotion on home ground with the support of their fans. Their next chance to do so will be on Saturday against Fortuna Düsseldorf II, as long as they win at Kaan-Marienborn.

With two more points from the remaining games, they will be out of reach of their pursuers, Borussia Mönchengladbach II. More fans will be allowed in the stadium on Saturday, which will boost their chances of securing their promotion.

Prussia Münster: Around 2000 tickets are still available for Saturday

If Preußen Münster succeeds in winning against Düsseldorf’s U23, there could potentially be more Münster fans in attendance than in the following two home games. The club announced on Monday that the guest block of the Preußenstadion will also be open to Fortuna fans for the upcoming match.

This means that an additional 680 standing room tickets will be available, bringing the total capacity to 12,994 spectators. While the main grandstand is already sold out, the club has stated that approximately 2,000 standing room tickets are still available.
